The tire tag TP120/35-E
is a UHF RFID tag EPC class 1 generation 2,
ISO18000-6B. The tag is intended for embedding in the
tire mould prior to the manufacture and curing of the
tire.
The tag survives the high
temperatures encountered in the tire curing process
and is sturdy enough to remain operational throughout
the operating life of the tire.
The tire tag TP120/35-E
can be built into truck tires that can be recapped
several times. This tire tag is manufactured under
license from Michelin and has been tested to survive
several hundred thousand miles under real world
conditions and does not generate a potential early
failure point in the tire.
